NCT ID NCT06016465
First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking a steroid pill (dexamethasone) after a nerve block can stop migraines from returning within 72 hours. About 84 adults with migraines who get relief from a nerve block in the emergency room will be randomly assigned to also receive the steroid or a placebo. The goal is to see if the steroid reduces headache recurrence and to check for side effects like high blood sugar.
