First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests a combination of chemotherapy (docetaxel) and a targeted radioactive drug (177Lu-PSMA) in 18 men with advanced prostate cancer that has stopped responding to hormone therapy. The main goal is to find the safest dose of the chemotherapy when given with the radioactive drug. Participants will receive both treatments along with standard hormone therapy. The study aims to control the disease, not cure it, as ongoing treatment is needed.
