Two-Pronged attack on diabetic eye swelling tested

NCT ID NCT07438119

Not yet recruiting Disease control Sponsor: Kun Liu Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This study aims to find out if a combination of two different eye injections works better than a single injection for treating diabetic macular edema (DME), a swelling in the back of the eye that can cause vision loss. It will involve about 114 people in China who have not had treatment for their DME before. Researchers will compare how well the two-drug combo reduces swelling and improves vision over 12 months versus the single drug alone.
