Summary
This study tested a new drug called DISC-0974 in 55 adults with chronic kidney disease (not on dialysis) who also have anemia. The goal was to check the drug's safety and how the body processes it. Participants received either the drug or a placebo by injection. The results will help decide if larger studies are warranted.
