New portable test could speed diagnosis of herbicide poisoning
NCT ID NCT07399574
Summary
This study is testing a new portable blood test kit designed to measure levels of diquat, a toxic herbicide, in people who may have been poisoned. Researchers will compare results from the portable device against standard laboratory testing methods to see if it's accurate enough for clinical use. The study involves collecting blood samples from 60 people with suspected diquat poisoning, but no treatment will be provided as part of this diagnostic accuracy research.
