Researchers track heart drug in tiniest patients

NCT ID NCT06613477

Summary

This study aims to learn how infants with a serious heart defect called single ventricle disease process the medication digoxin, which is already given to help their heart function. Researchers will collect small blood samples from up to 20 infants during their regular medical care to measure drug levels and related heart markers. The goal is to better understand the right dose for these vulnerable babies, but being in the study does not change their treatment plan.
