Digital app aims to tackle stigma holding back HIV treatment

NCT ID NCT07370298

Not yet recruiting Disease control Sponsor: Possible Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This study is testing a new digital tool designed to help HIV clinics in Nepal identify and address the complex stigma that can prevent people from staying in care. The tool includes a stigma assessment, a dashboard linking stigma to health data, and a library of activities to reduce stigma at personal, social, and clinic levels. The research team will pilot the tool with 88 participants, including people living with HIV and healthcare workers, to see if it is acceptable and practical to use in real clinics.
