Summary
This study is testing a smartphone-based therapy app designed to prevent post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and problematic cannabis use in women who have recently experienced sexual assault. The app focuses on reducing anxiety sensitivity, a known risk factor. Researchers are recruiting 68 women who present to emergency care within 72 hours of an assault to see if the digital tool is helpful and acceptable.
