First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tested a digital pulmonary rehabilitation program for people with chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD). Sixty adults aged 55-65 took part; half received the digital rehab plus usual care, while the other half had usual care only. The program used video sessions and a smartphone app to guide breathing exercises and measure lung function, thinking skills, physical performance, and sleep quality over 10 weeks. The goal was to see if this home-based approach could improve symptoms and daily life.
