First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests a digital program called "What Were We Thinking" to see if it can prevent postpartum depression and anxiety in first-time mothers in Chile. About 220 women with healthy newborns will either get the program (videos, text support, and a group chat) or standard care. Researchers will check if the program lowers depression and anxiety symptoms and improves confidence and support.
