Can a smartphone app replace expensive motion labs for kids with cerebral palsy?

NCT ID NCT07432789

First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a smartphone app can accurately measure how children with cerebral palsy move, like jumping and walking. Researchers want to see if the app works as well as expensive lab equipment, so kids can be assessed at home or school. About 60 children aged 6 to 18 will participate, including those with and without cerebral palsy.
