First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests whether combining a gentle, noninvasive brain stimulation technique (tACS) with a digital meditation program can improve thinking skills and well-being in adults aged 60-85 with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). About 90 participants will use a meditation app while receiving brain stimulation or a placebo. The goal is to see if this combination can speed up cognitive gains and even affect biological markers like telomere length.
