New app aims to boost lung cancer survivors' strength and well-being

Summary

This study tests a mobile app called PROMOTE designed to help lung cancer survivors improve their physical function, manage breathlessness and sleep problems, and adopt healthier habits. Researchers will enroll 250 people with stage I-III lung cancer who are starting treatment aimed at cure. Participants are randomly assigned to use the app for 12 weeks or receive standard health education materials, and their progress is tracked through surveys over 24 weeks.
