Scientists test precision of 3D-Printed teeth
NCT ID NCT07315607
Summary
This study aims to measure how closely a dentist can match a computer's plan when placing a dental implant and a prefabricated temporary crown. It involves 27 adults who are missing a single tooth and are eligible for an immediate implant. Researchers will use 3D scanning software to compare the planned position of the implant and crown to where they are actually placed during a guided surgery procedure.
