Scientists test if computer plans for new teeth match reality
NCT ID NCT07315607
Summary
This study aims to measure how closely a dentist can follow a computer's plan when placing a dental implant and a pre-made temporary crown. It involves 27 adults who need a single tooth replaced. Researchers will compare the computer's 3D plan to the actual final position of the implant and crown after surgery to see if the technique is accurate enough for routine use.
