Digital push aims to close gaps in family cancer risk communication

Summary
This study is testing two digital programs to improve how cancer genetic risk information is shared and managed. The first program helps healthcare providers directly contact family members of a patient with a cancer gene change to recommend genetic testing. The second program helps patients and their doctors stay updated when a genetic test result is uncertain. The goal is to see if these digital approaches work better than current standard practices.
