NCT ID NCT06433310
First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at how the dietary supplement L-Phenylalanine changes the levels of a natural chemical called phenylpropionic acid and the types of fungi living in the gut. Researchers will measure these changes in 20 healthy adults using stool, swab, and blood samples. The goal is to better understand how diet affects gut health, not to treat any disease.
