Summary

This study surveys 150 women aged 18-64 who follow vegetarian or vegan diets to assess their nutritional quality and adequacy. Participants will receive personalized nutritional counseling based on blood tests and food diaries. The goal is to see if counseling can improve diet, body composition, physical activity, and quality of life.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
personalized nutritional counseling
What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that personalized dietary advice helps vegetarians avoid nutrient deficiencies and improve quality of life.
What could go wrong
This is a small, observational survey with a counseling component, not a controlled trial. Results may not apply to all vegetarians or cancer patients.
