Summary

This completed study looked at how three different diet plans—Mediterranean diet, time-restricted feeding (a form of intermittent fasting), and a standard diet—affect eating behavior and weight management in 75 overweight or obese adults aged 20-49. Researchers measured body composition, diet satisfaction, and eating habits to find the most effective approach for long-term weight control.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
dietary intervention (Mediterranean diet, time-restricted feeding, standard diet)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could help identify which diet model works best for weight loss and eating behavior improvement in overweight individuals.
What could go wrong
This is a small, completed trial with 75 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. Diet adherence and individual differences can affect outcomes.
