NCT ID NCT07180069

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tested whether extra diet education focused on low-phosphate foods can help kidney dialysis patients lower their blood phosphate levels. 200 adults on dialysis were split into two groups: one got standard advice, the other got personalized counseling and tools to choose low-phosphate foods. The goal was to see if the special diet group had a bigger drop in phosphate levels after 12 weeks.
