Could a simple diet change make pregnancy safer for women with diabetes?

NCT ID NCT06355154

Summary

This study is testing whether eating fewer carbohydrates (like bread, pasta, and sugar) can help pregnant women with diabetes better control their blood sugar. Researchers will compare a standard diet to a moderate-carb diet in 120 women who need insulin. The goal is to see if the diet change leads to healthier blood sugar levels and better outcomes for both mother and baby.
