Can special diets during pregnancy control diabetes and shape Baby's health?
NCT ID NCT03681054
Summary
This study compares two healthy eating patterns to help overweight pregnant women with gestational diabetes control their blood sugar levels. Researchers are testing whether a moderately low-carb diet or a plant-based Nordic diet works better at keeping glucose in check during pregnancy. They're also measuring how these diets affect the baby's body fat percentage and other health markers after birth.
