Can special diets during pregnancy control diabetes and shape Baby's health?
NCT ID NCT03681054
Summary
This study tested two healthy eating patterns to help overweight pregnant women with gestational diabetes control their blood sugar levels. Researchers compared a moderately low-carb diet with a plant-based Nordic diet, providing meals and nutrition coaching. They measured how well each diet kept blood sugar in target range and examined how it affected the baby's body fat percentage after birth.
