Summary
This study looked at whether drinking artificially sweetened diet beverages affects blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes. About 181 participants were randomly assigned to drink either their usual diet beverage or plain water daily for 24 weeks. The main goal was to see changes in HbA1c, a key measure of long-term blood sugar control.
