Can one week of mediterranean diet boost your brain?
NCT ID NCT06192407
Summary
This study aims to understand how different types of dietary fats affect brain function and memory in healthy older adults. Researchers will provide all meals for 60 participants aged 65-75, comparing a high-saturated-fat diet (like typical North American food) to a Mediterranean-style diet low in saturated fat. The goal is to see if changing what people eat for just one week can lead to measurable improvements in working memory and brain activity.
