First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a mostly plant-based diet (the New Nordic diet) can improve gut health and reduce inflammation in people with Parkinson's disease. The goal is to see if diet can be a safe, low-cost way to help manage Parkinson's symptoms.
