First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests whether diathermy (a heat-based treatment) works better than dry needling (using thin needles) for short-term relief of chronic low back pain. Sixty adults aged 18-65 with pain lasting over 6 weeks will receive two sessions of one treatment. Researchers will measure pain, disability, and fear of movement at 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months after treatment.
