Summary
This study looks at how the diaphragm (the main breathing muscle) changes after a stroke that causes weakness on one side of the body. Researchers will measure diaphragm movement and thickness using ultrasound and compare it to breathing strength in 38 adults who had a stroke 1 to 6 months ago. No treatment is given—this is an observation-only study to better understand the link between diaphragm health and breathing power.
