New dialysis fluid tested to stop dangerous blood pressure crashes
NCT ID NCT05936710
Summary
This study aims to find a safer dialysis fluid for critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. It will compare two types of fluids (citrate-based vs. acetate-based) to see which one causes fewer dangerous drops in blood pressure during dialysis treatment. The goal is to improve patient stability and outcomes during this essential but risky procedure.
