First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study will test a new, less invasive biopsy method called transcervical true-cut biopsy to diagnose uterine masses. The goal is to see if it can accurately tell whether a mass is cancerous or benign, helping women avoid unnecessary surgery for harmless growths while ensuring those with cancer get the right treatment quickly. The study will involve 42 women who are already scheduled for surgery to remove a uterine mass.
