Summary

This study tested several different potential treatments for painful nerve damage caused by diabetes, known as painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy (PDPN). It enrolled 127 adults who had experienced this pain for at least six months. The main goal was to see if any of the tested treatments could safely and effectively reduce daily pain levels compared to a placebo.
