New hope for burning foot pain from diabetes

Summary
This study tested several potential new treatments for painful diabetic neuropathy, a common complication of diabetes that causes burning, tingling pain in the feet and legs. 127 adults with long-standing diabetic nerve pain participated, reporting their daily pain levels through a smartphone app. The goal was to find which treatments best reduced pain intensity and improved daily function.
