Summary
This study looked at whether giving adults with type 2 diabetes extra education and follow-up phone calls helps them manage their diabetes better, stick to their treatment, and feel more confident about their medications. 70 adults were split into two groups: one got the extra support, the other got usual care. The study measured changes in self-management, treatment compliance, and medication self-efficacy using questionnaires.
