Summary
This study aimed to find blood markers that could predict whether type 2 diabetes goes away after bariatric surgery in obese patients. Researchers planned to measure 9 specific molecules in the blood of 23 people before surgery and see if they linked to diabetes remission. The study was terminated early, so results are limited.
