Summary
This study is testing two different types of nutrition counseling to help African American women with type 2 diabetes better manage their condition. It involves 291 women who will attend group sessions over several months. Researchers want to see if adding motivational interviewing techniques to standard nutrition advice leads to better blood sugar control and health improvements.
