Summary
This study is testing two different diet coaching programs to help African American women better manage their type 2 diabetes. It involves 291 women who are at risk for diabetes complications. One group gets standard nutrition education, while the other gets the same education plus special motivational interviewing techniques to help with lasting lifestyle changes.
