New program aims to tackle diabetes in vulnerable mental health population
NCT ID NCT06384521
Summary
This study aimed to test whether a 10-week lifestyle program called 'Lifestyle MIND' is a practical way to help people with serious mental illness (like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder) manage their type 2 diabetes. Researchers planned to compare people who started the program right away with those who waited, checking blood sugar levels, daily habits, and well-being. The goal was to see if the program improves diabetes control and if the benefits last after it ends.
