Silent threat: ultrasound scans aim to spot hidden artery damage
NCT ID NCT07266220
Summary
This study aims to find out how common early artery hardening is in people who have both type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease. Researchers will use a safe, painless neck ultrasound to look for these early changes in 96 participants. The goal is to help doctors understand the link between these conditions and potentially improve early detection and prevention strategies for heart disease and stroke risk.
