Summary

This study tested whether combining a home monitoring device with diabetes education and skills training helps African American adults with poorly controlled type 2 diabetes. About 200 participants used the FORA monitoring system for 12 months. The main goal was to see if their blood sugar levels (HbA1c) improved.
