Summary
This study tested whether two types of diabetes medications (DPP4 and SGLT2 inhibitors) are safe and can improve movement and thinking in people with Parkinson's disease or Lewy body dementia. 18 adults with these conditions and mild blood sugar issues took the drugs for 4 weeks. Researchers measured changes in Parkinson's symptoms and cognitive function.
