Smart pump put to the test in the operating room

NCT ID NCT06947031

Summary

This study looked at how well a smart insulin pump system managed blood sugar in adults with type 1 diabetes who were having surgery. Researchers compared blood sugar control in the two weeks before surgery to the time during and after the procedure. The goal was to see if the automated system could safely maintain good control through this stressful event.
