Summary
This study tested three doses of dextromethorphan (a cough suppressant) against a placebo to see if it could reduce central neuropathic pain in people with spinal cord injury. 26 adults with chronic pain took part in a crossover trial where each person received all doses in a random order. The goal was to measure pain intensity changes and satisfaction with treatment.
