Summary
This study compares two medicines, dexmedetomidine and lidocaine, to see which one helps place a breathing tube (laryngeal mask) more easily in children aged 2-12 having minor surgery. The goal is to improve success on the first try and reduce coughing or other breathing problems. Sixty children will take part, and their heart rate and breathing will be closely watched.
