First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a moderate or high dose of the steroid dexamethasone, given during surgery, helps people recover better after laparoscopic gallbladder removal. About 135 adults will be randomly assigned to one of two dose groups. The main goals are to see which dose reduces nausea and vomiting, lowers inflammation, and improves overall recovery quality.
