Summary
This study tested whether a single dose of dexamethasone given before laparoscopic gynecologic surgery could reduce vomiting after the procedure. 120 women participated, receiving either the drug or a placebo. The goal was to see if this simple, low-cost approach could ease a common and distressing side effect.
