Summary

This study looks at how many doses of the steroid dexamethasone work best for people having knee replacement surgery. The goal is to reduce pain, the need for strong painkillers (opioids), and nausea after the operation. About 339 adults having their first knee replacement will take part. Researchers will compare different dosing schedules to find the safest and most effective option.
