First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested whether giving deworming medicine to everyone in a community for three years can stop the spread of soil-transmitted worms, which affect over 1.5 billion people. Over 350,000 people in India, Malawi, and Benin took part. The goal was to see if community-wide treatment works better than only treating children.
