First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests an oral medication, deucravacitinib, in 12 adults with moderate-to-severe pityriasis rubra pilaris (PRP), a rare skin condition causing red, scaly patches. The goal is to see if the drug safely reduces skin severity, itching, and improves quality of life over 24 weeks. Researchers will also look for unique biomarkers to predict who responds best.
