New study aims to catch hidden eating disorders in pregnant women
NCT ID NCT05885971
First seen Jan 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study is working to find a better way to detect eating disorders in pregnant women. Right now, it's hard to tell the difference between normal pregnancy food worries and a real eating disorder. Researchers will ask 50 pregnant women (some with and some without an eating disorder) questions to see which ones best spot the problem. The goal is to create a simple screening tool that helps doctors catch eating disorders early during pregnancy.
