Summary
This study aims to understand why dermatomyositis, a rare autoimmune disease affecting skin and muscles, appears to be more severe in Caribbean populations. Researchers will observe 10 patients in Guadeloupe to identify factors linked to worse outcomes. The study involves observation only—no new treatments are being tested—with the goal of improving future care strategies.
